Chipping Norton Town stayed three points clear at the top of the Witney & District FA Premier Division, thanks to an emphatic 7-1 home thrashing of basement boys Minster Lovell.

Rhys Bayliss and Rhys Warner-Carter bagged a brace apiece, with Warwick Thompkins, Dean Blake and Kieron Watts completing the rout. Stephen Burke hit back for Minster.

West Witney have three games in hand on Chippy, but are still only three points behind after a 3-0 success at Chadlington.

Karl Dodds, Jamie Stalker and Kevin Lewis did the damage to leave the hosts second from bottom.

Nathan Beckett (2), Jordan Day, Steve Godfrey, Jack Henry, Connor O’Shea and Conor Kelly were all on target for Bampton United as they stormed to a 7-2 triumph at Bourton Rovers Res.

Brize Norton Res went down 4-3 at home to Wootton in a thrilling encounter.

Graham Berry, Charlie Bell, Tom Franklin and Mitch Marvin gave Wootton a seemingly unassailable lead.

But a second half blitz from Shaun Rawlings, Scott Peaper and Rob Brown saw Brize get right back into the contest.

However, they were unable to find an equaliser as Wootton held on.
