Didcot Town joint manager Ian Concannon has no fear of in-form Shortwood United ahead of their Calor League Division 1 South & West clash at Draycott Engineering Loop Meadow tonight.

Shortwood have won their last six matches, but Concannon believes his side are capable of staging an upset.

“On their day anyone can beat anyone,” he said.

“We tend to do better against the better sides and there’s no doubt that Shortwood are one of the better sides, so it should be a really good game.”

Kameron Abbassi is out with a hamstring injury, but the Railwaymen are otherwise at full strength.

Oxford City’s Oxfordshire Senior Cup quarter-final with Banbury United is in doubt.

Water is standing on the Marsh Lane pitch, and an inspection is to take place at 1.30pm.

Meanwhile, experienced striker Steve Basham, who has struggled with a hamstring injury for most of the season, is expected to return to training later this week.
