THE Yellow Army are looking to pack out Field Mill in a fortnight’s time after designating the trip to Mansfield Town as their Big Away Day.
Oxford United have travelled in significant numbers this season and have been rewarded with the best away record in League Two, with five wins and two draws from their seven games.
Now the supporters group have chose the next away game, Mansfield on November 16, to focus on boosting the following to crank up the atmosphere.
Joe Nicholls, from the Yellow Army, said: “We want to single out one big away game every season that we can all get involved in and really travel to in great numbers.
“Mansfield fitted the bill perfectly.”
The club have responded by scrapping the £2 non-members fee on coach travel.
Anyone wanting to attend must buy match tickets in advance, as the fixture is all-ticket.
