Oxford United have been boosted ahead of Saturday's clash with in-form Chesterfield with Sean Rigg returning to fitness.
The winger tore a hamstring in the 3-1 win at Torquay United last month and it was feared he would be out for up to eight weeks.
But the 25-year-old returned to training this week and is expected to be in the squad this weekend.
U's boss Chris Wilder said: "Riggy's worked extremely hard and will be involved in the 18, which is great news.
"Full credit to Sean and the medical guys who have worked with him."
