FOOTBALL: Benson knocked off their perch

Benson AFC were knocked off the summit of North berks League Division 4 following a 3-1 defeat at Turnpike Sports, who replaced them as a result.
Tom McLean (2) and Jonny Fox did the damage for the Thatcham side, with Max Gallagher replying.
Kennington Athletic took adva-ntage of their opponents Warborough United only fielding nine players by going on to win 12-0.

Ben Cripps, Jack Clarkson and Matt Hutton sealed their impressive tally. Two goals from Tom Griffin and one each by Sam Powell and James Hicks gave East Hendred Res a narrow 4-3 win at Drayton Res.
