ALFIE Potter joked that he expects manager Chris Wilder to take some of the credit for his fine goal at Burton on Saturday.
The 24-year-old had grown a beard this season as part of a bet with Sean Rigg, but he shaved it off this week following advice from the management.
He said: “I don’t think the gaffer liked it too much and he made me have a shave.
“He’s not mentioned anything yet, but I’m expecting him to say it was all down to him.
“It was all about being clean-shaven. He told me I’d feel sharper if I had a shave, so he might be right.”
