OXFORD United are not expecting to do any business before the transfer window closes on Monday night, writes DAVID PRITCHARD.
It has been a busy summer of recruitment and it is understood the club are not actively looking to bring in any further permanent signings.
There is always the risk that United’s good start to the season attracts interest from other clubs, but none of their key assets have been the subjects of bids so far.
The U’s, whose squad has been depleted by injuries to Sean Rigg and Jon Meades, are not intending to move anyone on and have rejected a handful of approaches for fringe players.
Manager Chris Wilder said: “There have been a few enquiries for a couple of players that haven’t started games, but those have been turned down because of the size of the squad.”
The transfer window closes on Monday at 11pm, but the loan window re-opens a week later and is open until November 28.
