FOOTBALL: Kidlington duo bag trebles

OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE

ROSIE McCabe and Emily Young both scored hat-tricks as Kidlington reached the Under 14 League Cup semi-finals with a 9-0 victory at Kingham.

Cloe Woodward bagged a double, while Ellie Larkin fired in a thunderbolt.

Stonesfield Strikers went top of Under 10 League Cup Group B after drawing 2-2 at home to Tower Hill Vixens.

Kiera Rhodes and Rachel Appleton put Stonesfield ahead, but Georgina Smith levelled with a brace.

• KIDLINGTON Under 12s were crowned Oxfordshire FA Youth Futsal Festival champions at Rye St Anthony School, Oxford.

The victors, who saw off Oxford City, Thame, Tower Hill and Stonesfield, will represent Oxon in the regional round in May.
