A brace from Sid Mobbs appeared to put the hosts in control, only for Fairview to hit back in style for victory.
Callum Smith and Steven Simmons were the other marksmen for Rose Hill.
Union Street paid the price for missed chances as they lost 4-0 at home to leaders AFC Blackbirds.
Trailing 2-0, Union Street had two chances to level, only for Mike Savage and then Stephen Price to miss successive penalties.
