Oxford United start with trip to Bristol Rovers (From Oxford Mail)

Good to see the fixtures out, shame we get a raw deal yet again. Away 1st and last games, away Boxing Day. Long trips to FLEETWOOD and MORECOMBE in Jan and Feb. A Tuesday night away to Rochdale.

Still roll on 14th August, and lets get back into it.

slightly concerned, without swindon in the division where are the easy points going to come from?

Great to see fixture's out. But have we got the players to cope. I don't think so, I think we are gonna struggle this year. We need quality players. Wilder out

Now the fixtures are out at least we know what to expect. But I feel we still need to strengthen the attack. The return on effort was there last season, but the return in goals was not. This is why other teams succeeded and we did not. Okay, players will be back from injury, good, but it is not just about being good, it is about being better, because if we are to get promoted, we need a team with the strength and fire power to do well in league 1, look at Wycombe for example. So just getting a single goal and hoping we can 'shut the door' all the time, does not cut it. We have be more ruthless and close teams down, I just worry how we are going to change our coaching and team to do this. Having said this, I do not subscribe with the views to replace Wilder. It is going to be a tough start to the campaign, it will be interesting to see where we will be in the league by Christmas, or not? Come on You Yellows!

Jobsworth Red. We have a slight disadvantage this season because we won't be able to pick up six easy points against your lot. As for your new signings... Who are they? They are not exactly household names. Still, small things impress small people.

Excellent come back there mandate! truely comical! your 6 points over us last season really was the highlight of your season! Swindon will always be a bigger club than your 3-sided yellow loving club....any knowledgable oxford supporter would have all 3 of our new signing's in your starting 11! simple! and p.s. Oxford are not a big club like Swindon, but unlike Swindon Oxford have the right financial package to go forward unlike yous beloved Swindon. Look at what has happened to my club, and see yourself 3 years down the line if yee dinnae get promoted again. Oxford need 4 more decent players and then promotion is probable, yous lot need a lot more than that to avoid relegation.

What the heck are you on about - the right 'financial package' I presume you mean the one for the ground paying through the nose for a 3 sided mess, that can't cope with a large away contingent of supporters .. oh dearie me wake up and smell the coffee, or put some shades over those 'green eyes'.
You need to get better financial backing - buy the ground and start again - at present you lot appear to be treading water with the charges you are lumbered with.

If you lot are so good that you took "6 easy points" off Swindon why did your team fail to even get into the play offs? You know you are ridiculous, you got lucky twice and we played crap against you, but over 46 games we were by far the better team by over 20 points so get real! And to the "wee laddie", is that how you speak in Oxford? Or is it the result of inbreeding? Finally ....for all your bluff and ridiculous statements you would all give your right arms to be where we are now!!!

Hey Lazaat, good to see you on here. You have to be careful, olde Double-Dip Dave is just taking away their housing benefit so they may not have a stadium shortly.

They should have taken the money for their beloved Beano who did basically nothing for the rest of the season after us. Slider Wilder has run out of players, ambition and desire. No passion, no money and no ground they can call their own, very shortly alsations , white sticks and tin cans as they go begging for their future. Still my old Mum always said, "don't mock the afflicted " and since Maxwell they have had Kassam and now this other joker.
They say bad luck comes in three's.

This time next year the Town End will be gone and the first stage of our new stadium will have began, oh, and we will be in the Championship. Blue and yellow for ever........... sliding down the tables.
