OXFORD City Lions were controversially beaten 3-2 by Kosovan side FC Feniks in their UEFA Futsal Cup preliminary group H opener in Andorra.

Antonio Medina Ortega fired the English champions into an 11th-minute lead.

But Azem Brahimi levelled, before Narcis Alibegu made it 2-1.

David Parente deservedly equalised after the break, with a stunning strike into the top right corner.

But the decisive goal came in controversial circumstances, as the referee failed to award Lions a clear penalty, allowing Michal Belej to race free and cross for Marcelo Dos Reis Soares to net the winner.
