OXFORD United paid out more in fees to agents than any other club in Sky Bet League Two according to the latest figures released by the Football Association.

The U's spent £32,703 over the period from October 10 2015 to February 1 this year.

It covers a period when the club were active in both the loan market and securing permanent deals in January, including the likes of Chris Maguire and Jordan Bowery.

United's figure is higher than all but seven clubs in League One.

Leyton Orient (£19,823) and Portsmouth (£19,549) were the next highest in the fourth tier.

Elsewhere in League Two, Accrington Stanley, AFC Wimbledon, Cambridge United, Hartlepool United, Mansfield Town and Morecambe did not spend a penny.

At the other end of the scale, Manchester United spent more than £10m over the same period.
