A MINUTE'S silence will be held at Oxford United this afternoon following the attacks in Paris last night.
This morning the Football League announced all fixtures this weekend would be preceded by a silence in response to the multiple attacks in France which have killed at least 127 people.
The Football League tweeted: "The silence is a mark of respect to those that lost their lives last night and as a show of solidarity with the people of France #ParisAttacks."
United host Cambridge United in Sky Bet League Two at the Kassam Stadium, where the fixture has been designated as Military Day, which honours the work of the armed forces.
A silence was already planned to take place before the game, which is the closest U's home fixture to Remembrance Day.
