OXFORD United’s new home kit has been designed to mark the 30th anniversary of their Milk Cup triumph.

The two-tone yellow shirt with a retro V-neck and ox head crest is an updated version of the one worn by Maurice Evans’s men as they beat QPR 3-0 at Wembley in 1986.

United’s players will wear the shirt, with navy shorts and socks, for the first time tomorrow, when they visit Eastleigh in a friendly.

Supporters will be able to pre-order the kit next week, with it expected to go on general sale for the Sky Bet League Two opener at home to Crawley Town on August 8.

The away kit will be launched next Friday and worn against Coventry City on August 1.
