OCA League Divisions 4-11
DANNY Harding cracked his biggest century of the season so far as Chadlington hammered Radley by 175 runs in Division 4.
Harding’s 167 was his sixth century of the season and helped Chadlington to a massive 375-2.
Mark Lambert added 107 not out and Richard Ingram 51 not out.
Radley made no effort at chasing such a mammoth total, instead settling for obtaining maximum batting points, which they did with ease as they reached 200-7 in reply.
West Witney’s Ben van Vuuren hit 134 not out as his side continued to pull away from the Division 5 relegation zone.
West Witney cruised to a seven-wicket victory at Horley 2nd, who were bowled out for 219.
In Division 6, Stanton St John Willows’ Ditta Yousaf scored 97 not out to help his side to an 88-run victory over Stanton Harcourt.
Willows posted 257-6 from their 45 overs, before restricting Harcourt to 169-8, despite 51 from in-form batsman Harry Sutton.
Steve McComb (93no) and Adrian Redhead (77) helped Dorchester to a crushing eight-wicket win against Tetsworth 2nd.
Lawrence Belcher took 4-50 as Tetsworth fell for 196, before McComb and Redhead led Dorchester to victory.
Youngster Tom Bartlett smashed 137 not out for Hook Norton 2nd, who crushed Marsh Gibbon 2nd by 203 runs in Division 7.
Bartlett’s magnificent ton, plus 74 not out from Grant Wallis and Paul Souch’s 60, saw Hooky to 322-2.
Marsh Gibbon then slumped to 119 all out in reply.
In Division 8, Risinghurst went top after a seven-wicket win over title rivals Kings Sutton.
Martin Kalyan (4-18) was the pick of the bowlers as Kings Sutton were all out for 171.
Ripon Masih (56) and Kalyan (52no) then combined to see Risinghurst to 173-3.
Minster Lovell 3rd’s Liam Day took 6-13, but was on the losing side in an extraordinary match against Witney Swifts 2nd.
Day’s haul saw Swifts tumbled out for only 57, but Minster then crashed to 46 all out in reply, Mark Horne taking 5-26 and Graeme Woodward 4-10.
A day later, Minster proved they had learned some lessons as they beat leaders Faringdon 2nd by four wickets.
Day (3-30) and James McLaren (3-20) helped bowl Faringdon out for 124, before Russell Whitlock hit 47 as Minster reached 125-6.
In Division 10, Chesterton 2nd’s Vijay Sujendran scored 102 not out to help his side to a 112-run win at Oxford Rescue 2nd.
Chesterton posted 234-3, Justin Shirtcliff adding 74 not out.
Rescue then fell to 122 all out in reply.
San Greenhalf captured superb figures of 7-33 as Britwell Salome thumped Hanney 2nd by ten wickets in Division 11.
