DAVIDSTOW VILLAGE CUP
SIMON Hole hit an unbeaten 57 as Shipton-under-Wychwood beat Oxford Downs by seven wickets in the Oxfordshire quarter-final.
They now visit Great & Little Tew in the last four on Sunday.
Justin Cantrell top-scored with 55, with Wes Bartlett contributing 46 as Downs were all out for 180, having been well-placed on 119-1.
George Seacole (3-39) and Chris Wood (3-57) were the pick of the Shipton bowlers.
Hole’s heroics and a knock of 41 from Craig Wood steered Shipton to a compfortable victory with more than five overs remaining.
Tom Ingram’s hostile spell gave Cumnor victory over Harpsden and set up a home tie against Tiddington in the semi-final.
Ingram returned 5-17 from his nine overs as the hosts were dismissed for 143 in reply to Cumnor’s 162-9.
Adam Jones had led the way for the visitors, top-scoring with 30 not out.
The winners will meet in the Oxfordshire final on Sunday, June 8.
