An unbeaten half-century by Andy Cross earned Middleton Cheney an exciting one-wicket victory over Sandford St Martin A in Division 2 of the Banbury League.
Cross made 51 not out as Cheney, chasing a victory target of 112, got home with just three balls to spare.
By contrast, Charlbury A eased past Castlethorpe’s 80-2 without loss in 6.4 overs.
