STEVE Green was the star as South Oxfordshire Amateurs enjoyed a successful tour of the West Country.

The Horspath batsman scored two of the five centuries made by SOA as the tourists secured five wins.

Green opened with 100 not out in an exciting two-run victory over Tiverton Heathcoat.

But his real tour de force came at Sidmouth.

Chasing 246 for victory, SOA were well behind the clock, needing 100 from the last ten overs.

But Green thrashed 109 from 85 balls with four sixes and 11 fours to help them get home with two balls to spare.

Ian Caunce scored the third century with his 104 from 76 balls in the 15-run win over North Devon.

The final two tons came in the last game, when Frankie Crouch (103) and Liam Lewis (101) put on 224 for the first wicket against the Somerset Stragglers.
