HENRY Willman’s unbeaten 108 helped Wolvercote 2nd to a crushing 179-run win at Swinbrook in Division 5 of the OCA League.

James van Santen added 86 as Wolvercote racked up 275-4, a total which proved way beyond the hosts, who were bowled out for 96.

Oxenford 2nd defeated visitors Kidlington 2nd by seven wickets.

Andy Oliver struck 74 not out in Kidlington’s 163-9, but an unbeaten 73 for Harry Sturgess and 54 for Divyansh Galuti saw Oxenford home.

Sunil Gill’s 5-24 helped Tetsworth 2nd to a six-wicket win at home to East & West Hendred 2nd, while Kennington cruised to a seven-wicket win against visitors Yarnton & Cowley 2nd.

In Division 6, Risinghurst 2nd began with a 26-run win at home to Witney Swifts 2nd.

Raj Kumar (41) was the only batsman to master tricky conditions in Risinghurst’s 104-7.

John Thompson (4-11) and Kumar (3-16) then helped to bowl Swifts out for 78.

Wolvercote 3rd defeated visitors Dorchester 2nd by 54 runs as Shan Irfan hit 63 in Wolvercote’s 139-9 and David Quinn took 4-8 as Dorchester were bowled out for 85.

In Division 7 North, Adam Lambert’s 5-25 helped Stonesfield 2nd to a 14-run win at Deddington 2nd.

Stonesfield had been held to just 96-9 in their 45 overs as Simon Oldfield and Lewis Bletchley took four wickets apiece.

But Lambert’s five wickets from 12 overs helped to bowl Deddington out for 82.

Hook Norton 2nd saw off Chipping Norton 2nd by five wickets, with Ian Reucassel’s 5-27 the outstanding performance.

Stanton Harcourt 2nd’s Declan Wastie fell foul of the new no-ball law after just one legitimate delivery as his side beat Kidlington 3rd by seven wickets.

Wastie, in his first over of the season, bowled two high full tosses and was removed from the attack as Kidlington posted 164 all out, Razwan Dogar hitting 98 not out.

Wastie made up for his bowling performance with a fluent 49 not out as Stanton eased to victory at 165-3.

Westcott 2nd beat Charlbury 3rd by ten wickets after dismissing the visitors for just 78.

In Division 7 South, a welcome return to the OCA from Harwell International ended with a seven-wicket win against visitors Sunningwell 2nd.

Lee Bainbrigge took 3-7 as Sunningwell were dismissed for 77, and then Afzal Hussain hit 37.

Bampton 2nd beat Faringdon 2nd by one wicket off the final ball.

Faringdon set 223-3, Jonathan Moore top-scoring with 74.

Richard Pitt (82) and Gerald Holford (53no) then combined to steer Bampton home at the death.

Elsewhere, Kilkenny 2nd thumped Kennington 2nd by eight wickets, while Watlington 2nd cruised to a 144-run win over visitors Steventon 2nd.
