SANTHA Thirupathi took four wickets in as many balls as Risinghurst 2nd and Eynsham 2nd battled out a thrilling tie in Division 9.

Thirupathi ended with bowling figures of 6-8 as Eynsham were dismissed for 78.

But Aaron McCreadie (4-12) and Stephen Cooper (3-19) combined as hosts Risinghurst fell for the same score.

Gary Butler’s 6-22 led Marcham 2nd to a 59-run win at Hanney 2nd.

Stephen Hill (62no) and Edward Warwick (52) helped Marcham to 158-6, before the hosts were dismissed for 99.

Sunningwell 2nd eased to an eightwicket win at home to Chesterton 2nd.

Andrew Barrett took 4-16 in Chesterton’s 74 all out, before Nigel Lovell (49no) led Sunningwell to 75-2.

Darren Jones took 6-27 as Radley 2nd recorded an eight-wicket win over East & West Hendred 2nd in Division 7.

The hosts were skittled out for just 77, before Jones hit an unbeaten 35 to see Radley to victory.

Jason Elliott took 6-23 and Luke Murgatroyd 3-22 as Wolvercote 2nd shot hosts Hanborough out for a paltry 47.

Sarosh Irani then hit 30 not out as Wolvercote eased home by nine wickets.

Stonesfield 2nd edged past Cowley Internationals 2nd by two wickets.

Ciaran Northwood (4-27) and Adam Fleetwood (3-22) combined to dismiss visitors Cowley for 110.

Mickey Phipps then hit 34 to help Stonesfield to 112-8.

In Division 8, visitors Swinbrook 2nd crashed to 38 all out as Uffington 2nd romped to a nine-wicket win.

Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd proved far too strong for Chadlington 2nd as they cruised to a 266-run victory.

Rama Garimella (80), Omar Hussain (78) and Marcus Charman (67) starred with the bat.

Combe posted a crushing seven-wicket win at Witney Swifts 2nd.

In Division 10, Alasdair Harley’s unbeaten 108 helped Charlbury 3rd to a 196-run win at Kennington 2nd.

Charlbury rattled up a formidable 231-2, with Nick Powell scoring 70.

Hassan Khurshi smashed 141 to help Britwell Salome to a 135-run win away to Kidlington 3rd.

John Moss’s fine figures of 5-45 were in vain for the home side, who then fell to 91 all out, Tony Launchbury top-scoring with 40.
