Sunningwell continued their march towards the OCA League Division 5 title with a nine-wicket win at Hook Norton.

Sam Baker returned 5-41 to restrict the home side to 180-9, Dan White hitting 57.

Baker then scored 92 not out and James Stacey 72 not out as Sunningwell romped to 184-1.

Second-placed Minster Lovell 2nd hammered visitors West Ilsley by 193 runs.

They had posted 220-7, Zak Jarvis hitting 60 and Ed Price 52.

Ilsley then crumbled to a paltry 27 all out, Chris Morgan taking 5-13.

West Witney saw off visitors Garsington by 42 runs.

Patrick Smith’s 72 not out helped West to 212 all out, before Ankur Srivastava took 5-51 as Garsington were dismissed for 170.

Division 6 leaders Bampton were too strong for visitors Brill in a 76-run win.

Ted Landray top-scored with 92 as Bampton set 175 all out.

Brill then collapsed to 99 all out, despite 61 from Tom Broughton, who had earlier claimed 5-33.

Westbury 2nd kept up the pressure with an eight-wicket win against visitors Broughton & North Newington 2nd.

Dismissing Broughton for 179, Westbury eased to 181-2 as Will Gurney hit 81 not out and Simon Boardman 50.

A haul of 6-8 from Simon Ridgway sent Shrivenham 2nd crashing to 33 all out at Great Horwood 2nd, who then raced to a ten-wicket victory.

Jason Briggs hit an unbeaten ton to help East & West Hendred 2nd to a 130-run win at Cowley Inter- nationals 2nd in Division 7.

Briggs made 125 not out in Hendred’s 251-6, and then Pete Beckley took 5-40 as Cowley were shot out for 121.

Leaders Tetsworth 2nd beat hosts Oxenford by three wickets.

Bowling Oxenford out for just 117, Haroon Nasser Khan top-scored with 44 to lead Tetsworth to 118-7.

Radley 2nd beat visitors Wolvercote 2nd by 23 runs, thanks to a magnificent seven wicket haul from Danny Godfrey.

Radley rattled up 251-6, Shoaib Ahmed hitting 66 and Darren Jones 54.

Godfrey then took 7-66 in Wolvercote’s 228 all out, Toby Shelley top-scoring with 61 not out.

Division 8 leaders Wootton & Boars Hill 2nd lost only their second game, going down by six wickets at Uffington 2nd.

On a difficult pitch, Wootton were restricted to 133-7 in their 45 overs.

Rob Heaseman then hit 55 to help Uffington to 134-4.

Liam Day hit a maiden OCA century for Ducklington as they thumped hosts Witney Swifts 2nd by 236 runs in Division 8.

Day hit 122, Jacob Hughes 65 and Scott Summers 63 in Ducklington’s huge 352 all out. Swifts tumbled for 116.

Sunningwell 2nd veteran Pete Whinfrey took career best figures of 7-23 to help his side to a ten-wicket win at Hanney 2nd in Division 9.

Hanney were skittled out for 73, before Nigel Lovell (48no) led Sunningwell to 78-0.

In Division 10, Chalgrove were skittled out for just 45 as Deddington 2nd cruised to an eight-wicket win.

James McPhee was the pick of the bowlers with 5-25, and then Deddington eased in at 46-2 to maintain their outside promotion hopes.
