OCA League Divisions 5-11

GREG Inge hit an unbeaten century to help West Witney to a ten-wicket victory at Horley 2nd in Division 5.

Horley were bowled out for 165, but this proved nowhere near enough as Inge plundered 104 not out in West Witney’s 167-0.

Andy Small scored 122 to help Cairns Fudge to a 37-run win at Wantage.

Fudge were bowled out for 215, before dismissing their hosts for 178.

Uffington cruised to the top of the table with a crushing 217-run win over Cassington.

Steve Willis (77no) and Peter Jones (73) helped Uffington to 275-8, before the visitors were skittled out for 58 as Ashley Green took 4-23.

In Division 6, Robbie Craddock’s century helped Kilkenny to a 120-run win against Minster Lovell 2nd.

Kilkenny posted 264-6, Duncan Macdonald adding 77.

Minster were then restricted to 144-8.

Wolvercote amassed a huge 311-3 to beat Chalgrove by 161 runs.

Stuart Tofts led the way with 93 not out, while Ben Proctor (73), Tim Macintyre (59) and Simon Burns (50no) also scored half-centuries.

Chalgrove were restricted to 150-8 in reply as Jonathan Campion took 4-42.

Martin Kalyan scored a century in Risinghurst’s 39-run triumph at Stonesfield 2nd in Division 7.

Risinghurst posted 189-6 as Kalyan hit 102, before the home side were restricted to 150-7.

Veteran Howard Preene scored 80 as Uffington 2nd cruised to a seven-wicket win at Steventon in Division 8.

Neil Johnson had claimed 5-35 to help restrict Steventon to 182-9, before Preene and Geoff Keene (51) saw Uffington to 184-3.

Oxenford 2nd saw off Sunningwell by three wickets.

Richard Rowley’s 5-33 helped restrict the home side to 174-8, and then Leigh Bastable (56) led Oxenford’s to 176-7.

In Division 9, Robin Himpson took 6-35 for Kennington 2nd, but it was in vain as Swinbrook 2nd won by 92 runs.

Tom Yallop (75) saw Swinbrook to 203-9, and then Kevin Salway took 4-27 as the visitors were all out for 111.

Brothers Elliott and Henry Crowther took eight wickets between them as Minster Lovell 3rd beat Chesterton 2nd by two wickets.

Chesterton were shot out for 98 as Elliott took 5-23 and younger brother Henry 3-25.

Minster sneaked home at 98-8 in reply.

In Division 10, Wolvercote 2nd maintained their 100 per cent record with a two-wicket win at Deddington 2nd.

Owen Gallacher took 5-16 as Deddington were bowled out for 103, and then Luke Murgatroyd (48no) led Wolvercote to 108-8 for a narrow victory.
