SAM Cheshire’s classy 123 put leaders Banbury 2nd on the path to a 100-run victory over Challow & Childrey.
Cheshire was well supported by the experienced trio of Andrew Sabin (42), Chris Smith (41) and Steve Beck (30) as the home side accumulated 271-8 after electing to bat.
Challow’s slim chances ended with the demise of Nigel Hume (45) and Olly Dimbylow (41) as Ed Smith (3-37) and Ernest Murrey (3-50) shone.

Sandford St Martin crashed to 76 all out at second-placed Wolverton Town.
The visitors had looked well placed when Sam Courtley took 4-28 in dismissing Town for 142, Kabir Arif being left high and dry on 35 not out.
But Andrew Gosling (4-32) and Atif Akhlaq (3-19) worked their way through Sandford to secure maximum points.

Banbury Twenty returned from Long Marston with one less point than they begun with after an eight-wicket loss and failing to provide a scorer.
Veteran John Wright top- scored with 36 in Twenty’s 138, Simon McLeman taking 4-12.
Mark Green hit 42 before Mike Lyons (42no) and Jon Beardmore (40no) sealed it.
Twenty earned four points on the field, but were deducted five for lacking a scorer.
Long Marston 25, Banbury Twenty -1
Abingdon Vale made a poor at Great Brickhill, but Alex Bowles (39), James Boon (32) and tail-ender Paul White (35) took them to 214 all out.
Graham Charlesworth (3-43) made Brickhill work hard , but Doug Aris hit 74 and Greg MacDonald 57 as the hosts scrambled their way to 215-7.
Great Brickhill 25, Abingdon Vale 11
Tiddington’s decision to field against Aston Rowant 2nd backfired when the visitors racked up 273-8, thanks to knocks from Chris Eaton (80), Joe Brown (67) and Paul Plumridge (48).
Tim Foster took 4-60, but Sammy Thomson (73) and Nathan Brooks (40) staved off fdefest at 182-8.
