OCA League Divisions 3 & 4

Adam Lambert took 7-34 as Stonesfield thumped Kings Sutton by 169 runs in their Division 3 opener.

Jamie Burns (81) had earlier helped Stonesfield to a useful 214-7 from their 45 overs, and Kings Sutton had no answer to Lambert, as they were sent tumbling to 45 all out.

Eynsham eased to a 95-run victory over Broughton & North Newington.

Dom Coe was the pick of the batsmen with 66, while Gary Cook chipped in with 47.

Youngster George Seacole hit 68 not out to help Witney Swifts to a seven-wicket win over Oxenford.

Omar Hussain, who re-turned to the club from Shipton, took 5-32 as Oxenford were dismissed for 130, before Seacole saw Swifts to a comfortable victory.

A half-century from Pete Smith helped Westcott to a five-wicket win at home to Clifton Hampden.

Morley Benson (52) and Mick Richmond (50no) saw Clifton to 183-6, before Westcott reached their target with more than six overs to spare.

An impressive spell of bowling from 18-year-old Tom Kellie helped Combe to a seven-wicket win against Britwell Salome.

Britwell collapsed from 122-2 to 148 all out, before Combe eased home with 58 from Charlie Arber and 42 not out from Martin Seacole.

Brill’s decision to bowl first proved a good one as they beat Oxford Rescue by five wickets.

Darren Kavanagh’s 2-14 in 12 overs put the pressure on Rescue, who were restricted to 106-8 as Ian Smith took 4-20 in ten overs.

Brill eased past the target with five wickets and more than 12 overs to spare.

Charlbury 2nd posted an easy 64-run victory at home to Minster Lovell 2nd.

Charlbury were bowled out for 171, Chris Morgan taking 4-22 and Phil Spearman 4-33.

Minster fell to 107 all out in reply, with Ajit Shah and Paul Jenkins both taking 4-11.
