FORMER Radley athlete Hatti Dean enjoyed a morale-boosting victory at the Lotto Cross Cup in Hulshout, Belgium.
The 30-year-old Hallamshire athlete held off fellow Brit Hannah Doran by 13 seconds to complete the 6.4km course in 21mins 6secs.
Victory continues a successful cross country season for Dean, who also won the European trials at Sefton Park, Liverpool in November.
But her focus will soon be on the London Olympics where she hopes to compete in the 3,000m steeplechase.
l BICESTER AC have received a clubmark award from UK Athletics.
The accolade was presented to club chairman Steve Flynn at Bicester and Ploughley Sports Centre.
Flynn said it was the reward for two years of hard work by the club.
The award recognises the quality of coaching the club provide, their depth of volunteers and links with the local area.
