NOEL Blatchford, from Abingdon Amblers, won two gold medals for Great Britain in the 12th European Veterans Championships.
Blatchford was one of a three-strong Amblers line-up which also included Judy Howard and Roz Mckenzie, who came away with a haul of medals from the event at lle-Yutz in France.
All three competed in the 10K racewalk.
Blatchford won the individual gold medal in the LV60 category, recording a personal best performance for the distance of 1hr 04mins 54secs.
Blatchford and Howard, who also recorded a personal best performance, completing the distance in 1.07.43, both received team golds as part of Britain’s winning LV50 team.
McKenzie recorded a time of 1.16.09 and won a team Bronze medal in the LV45 category.
Blatchford also competed in the 20K racewalk and produced another fantastic performance to win her second gold in the LV60 category.
She recorded a time of 2hrs 13mins.
Blatchford also received a team bronze medal as part of the LV45 line-up.
