ABINGDON’S Duncan Talbot won three medals at the Southern Counties Veterans Indoor Championships at Lee Valley.

The vet 60 competitor took gold in the 60m hurdles with a time of 12.17.

Talbot set an age-group club record of 9.67 for silver in the 60m, before finishing second in the high jump with a leap of 1.35m.

Meanwhile, Witney Roadrunner Rachel Stanley-Evans won her age category at the Castle Combe Chilly 10km.

She crossed as the first vet 40 runner in 89th overall.
