HANNAH England admitted it was frustrating to narrowly miss out on the qualifying time for the World Indoor Athletics Championships.
Competing in the New Balance Grand Prix in Boston, USA, on Saturday, the Oxford City 1500m runner came ninth in 4mins 11.25secs – just 0.25 seconds outside the required mark.
England will race in the British Indoor Championships next week, but knows how close she came.
“Pretty frustrating to be 0.25s off a qualifying time for World Indoors, would have been great to have ticked that box out here in Boston. But looking forward to getting back for the British champs next week,” she tweeted.
