TEAM Oxfordshire were all but relegated from UK Youth Development League Midland Premier 1 after coming last in round three at Yate, near Bristol.
The composite side of Oxford City, Radley, Abingdon and White Horse Harriers lie second from bottom in the table with one round remaining.
With the bottom two going down from the under 17/20 section, Oxon must win their final match, hope Notts AC finish last and then overturn an almost 300 point deficit.
Oxon failed to field athletes in several events at Yate, but highlights included Simi Fajemisin (Oxford City) winning the under 17 ladies’ 100m and long jump in 12.74secs and 5.45m respectively.
Oxford’s Alice Byles won the 300m hurdles (46.26) and Radley’s Ellie Smith (28.38) the discus.
City’s Adela Hussain took the under 20 ladies’ high jump in 1.45m.
