We'll be back tomorrow from Spotland with all the news from #oufc's trip to Rochdale. You can join in from 6.45pm.

11:32am
That's all we've got time for today - that hour flew by. Great to have something positive to talk about, thanks to everyone who contributed.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:29am
@OxfordMailOUFC after his performance at Sheff Utd last year I admit I was not a fan but fair play to him. Now hoping Smalley does the same
— @kevinspackman 22 October 2012
11:28am
Also Raynes doesn't strike me as one to rock the boat if he misses out. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:28am
Interesting point Ransley, but I think you have to pick your strongest team & Mullins has impressed. Raynes only just back from injury too.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:26am
@OxfordMailOUFC agree centre back is where he suits us, but does dropping Raynes send the wrong message
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
11:24am
Wright can play at left back, but would be surprised if he isn't at centre back tomorrow. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:24am
@OxfordMailOUFC the fan's player of the year is indicative of that.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
11:22am
Whing's transformation at #oufc shows what can be done. Not many were singing his praises at the start of last season, now he's a cult hero.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:22am
@OxfordMailOUFC we need Whing long term so any reaction we need tokeep him out, can Wright play left back?
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
11:18am
@OxfordMailOUFC we can't lose Whing again, we just can't.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
11:17am
Mullins worth a mention too. Playing at LCB not easy for a RCB, but he had a trouble-free afternoon. Raynes benefitted from him too. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:16am
Can't argue with that assessment Gareth. Hopefully the likes of Whing & Cox didn't suffer any reaction and can go again. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:15am
@OxfordMailOUFC Wright in for Raynes and O'Brien who I think has been quite good in his time here for Capaldi
— @kevinspackman 22 October 2012
11:14am
@OxfordMailOUFC if capaldi is out, then stick o'brien, and I would put Wright In for Raynes, Mullins has been good enough to keep his place.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
11:11am
Thinking of Rochdale, would you look to make as few changes as possible? Capaldi may be out (ankle), Wright available after suspension.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:09am
@OxfordMailOUFC 1-2 Oxford
— @Clare19752 22 October 2012
11:08am
Always think it's a shame to get someone in your own division in the FA Cup, but no question it offers a chance to go through. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:08am
You're not wrong, Olly. Rochdale are 8th mainly because of their away results. Just 1 win in 6 at home in League 2. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:07am
@OxfordMailOUFC rubbish draw!
— @GrantMadden1 22 October 2012
11:06am
@OxfordMailOUFC think a lot of fans would of liked a non league team at home, think barnet best draw of any league clubs
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
11:06am
@OxfordMailOUFC I want to get revenge on the Orient, or I else I would prefer a home draw. The David's factor will be interesting.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
11:06am
@OxfordMailOUFC indifferent, Barnet is on my door step but league match against them is more important
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
11:05am
@OxfordMailOUFC Rochdale is winnable, they had a bad result on Saturday so will be hurting, but we should be able to take all 3 points
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
11:04am
@OxfordMailOUFC Rochdale have been poor at home, definitely our chance to kickstart our season
— @ollyhowells 22 October 2012
11:04am
@OxfordMailOUFC I think if we carry any form into Rochdale we will have a chance. The Port Vale game was a case of wrong place, wrong time.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
11:03am
@OxfordMailOUFC nice one! Please do, not sure how easy it is to do so thou.
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
11:02am
Also should mention the FA Cup draw - Barnet away. Good, bad or indifferent? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
11:00am
The key now, clearly, is to capitalise on Saturday. Rochdale away on a Tuesday is a different test entirely - how optimistic are we? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:58am
@OxfordMailOUFC no we put them on the back foot from the off, they were above us in table we made them look average.
— @Rtanner82 22 October 2012
10:58am
I'll ask the club, Jason. A Beano DVD could be the ideal Christmas stocking filler!
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:58am
@OxfordMailOUFC thats true, he looks like he is thinking about his crosses more as well as being more clinical with his finishing.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
10:56am
It's a point worth making, Tom. Potter now has 5 goals - his best for an entire season is 6. Has really improved that side of his game.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC happy to see Potter score again, he's becoming much more of a complete forward this year & added more goals to his game.
— @TomThewlis 22 October 2012
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC should release that dvd, reckon sell quite a few copies
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
10:55am
@OxfordMailOUFC accrington was terrible seemed to be no communication between the players
— @Clare19752 22 October 2012
10:55am
@OxfordMailOUFC you can't win a game solely on the opposition being poor. We forced errors & took the game by the scruff of the neck.
— @JackSimpson_93 22 October 2012
10:53am
Beano's efforts were clearly recognised by the fans there on Sat. Unusual that someone scores 4 and the chants are about his strike partner.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:53am
@OxfordMailOUFC I think they were ideal oppo for a team needing 2 bounce back. Biggest test will be how we kick on 2morro. Wright for Raynes
— @Big_badWolfe 22 October 2012
10:51am
Beano mom for me, worked his nuts off & didn't have any luck with their keeper. Rigg has been excellent over past 4 games @OxfordMailOUFC
— @Big_badWolfe 22 October 2012
10:51am
@OxfordMailOUFC Whing was fantastic, not only in his defening and helping Raynes, but his balls forward were well measured.
— @OXONAssassin 22 October 2012
10:51am
The full story on that Beano DVD mentioned by Jason can be found here: http://t.co/TjiPWtmM
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:49am
@OxfordMailOUFC I am absolutely 100% behind Wilder. On Saturday it was clear, with a fit squad & a solid 442 we can certainly go places.
— @JackSimpson_93 22 October 2012
10:48am
@OxfordMailOUFC not quite coming off for Beano right now but very soon some team is gonna be hit for 5 by him
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
10:48am
@OxfordMailOUFC fantastic for club that he's found his form again, he needs 2keep that tensity up now. Great thinkin of wilder with dvd
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
10:48am
Is there anyone who felt the main factor was Accrington Stanley playing poorly, rather than #oufc doing anything particularly special?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:47am
@OxfordMailOUFC they definitely need to stick with a 442, players like Craddock need the power & strength of Beano by them to do well.
— @TomThewlis 22 October 2012
10:46am
Beano's display definitely worth a mention. Wilder tsaid it was his best game for 18 months - what do you think about that? Deserved a goal.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:46am
@OxfordMailOUFC I noticed on several occasions where both Potter & Rigg busted a gut to help out the full backs. Little things like that.
— @JackSimpson_93 22 October 2012
10:44am
@OxfordMailOUFC no question 442 is only way now
— @Rtanner82 22 October 2012
10:44am
@OxfordMailOUFC port vale away completely different kettle of fish compared 2stanley@home. Any formation used & still be tough,
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
10:44am
Wilder made that very point, Jack. They looked a different #oufc side from the Vale game because it was a different side - five changes.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:44am
@OxfordMailOUFC Beano was immense, Alfie also. Though cox played well.
— @Rtanner82 22 October 2012
10:41am
Agree with you Ian, tempo from the start set the tone. Craddock & Constable charged down clearances in the first 5 mins, leading by example.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:41am
@OxfordMailOUFC It didn't work as well against Vale because we didn't have the personnel. Heslop on the right wing, Mullins at right-back.
— @josh_mcgrillen 22 October 2012
10:39am
@OxfordMailOUFC beano was excellent, Whing solid
— @Yellowtillidie 22 October 2012
10:39am
@OxfordMailOUFC great to see a real connection developing with beano and craddock, people been saying 4ages they suit a 4-4-2 formation
— @dikko17 22 October 2012
10:38am
@OxfordMailOUFC Hopefully not merely a really poor Accrington team. Return of Cox has to be a big bonus, we needed someone to add some bite
— @oufcgeorge 22 October 2012
10:38am
@OxfordMailOUFC tempo. We chased and harried like we used too. Not convinced formation made a huge difference. PV away was 442 but no tempo
— @hozzy82 22 October 2012
10:38am
@OxfordMailOUFC hard work in pressuring from the front, 2 wingers attacking and 2 strikers making space for each other..need to keep it up
— @jamesoufc 22 October 2012
10:38am
It should be pointed out #oufc did play 4-4-2 at Port Vale last week, which didn't work quite as well.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:38am
...also Cox and JFC made valuable contributions with & without the ball. Is 4-4-2 what they should stick with?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:38am
Hi Ross, welcome back. Thought the formation would figure prominently. It worked very well, with the front 2 supported by Rigg & Potter...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:35am
And most importantly, can it be the launchpad to a more consistent run of form? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:35am
@OxfordMailOUFC 4-4-2
— @Rtanner82 22 October 2012
10:34am
Tom Craddock obviously got most of the attention, but who else impressed you? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 22 October 2012
10:33am
Relive #oufc's destruction of Accrington Stanley with our picture gallery online this morning. http://t.co/Edredx4O

Morning everyone and welcome to our weekly Oxford United chat.
Hopefully this edition will be the most upbeat for some time in the wake of Saturday's performance.
The main question is - what went right?
We're here for the next hour, so post your thoughts below.
