OXFORDSHIRE rider Bradley Smith fractured the first and fourth toes in a crash during a practice session in the wet ahead of tomorrow’s Malaysian Moto2 Grand Prix at Sepang.
But the injuries are not expected to prevent Tech 3 Racing’s Smith from competing in the race.
Smith has a great record in Sepang, finishing second in the 125cc race in 2008 and 2009.
Standings: 1 M Marquez 283pts, 2 P Espargaro 230, 3 A Iannone 178, 4 T Lüthi 177, 5 S Redding 144, 6 M Kallio 110, 7 B Smith 96.
