Simon Godfrey scored twice as Chalgrove fought back before beating Horspath 4-2 in the first round of the Oxfordshire Charity Cup.
Godfrey fired them ahead, only for Horspath old boy Paul Cooper to put his new side in front with a double.
But Godfrey’s second, James Quainton and Tim Cox completed the turnaround.
