Really really crap get out of r club lenagan u parasite

The last thing we need is for Lenegan to leave. Clearly there are problems at the club and a change of manager may be what is needed as I feel that although Wilder is a good coach I am not so sure about his man management qualities, Also we seem to stick mainly to one formation which does not appear to be working very well. I feel that the current situation cannot be allowed to continue for much longer as the last thing we need is a relegation fight.

I think we are dammed if we do or don't. Something is really wrong at the moment within the club and I think our chairman should come out and comment as his silence speaks volumes. The players look void of ideas and where once we looked good especially at the back we now look woeful. I think its to early to talk about relegation as we aren't the only ones not performing but wholesale change needs to happen fast.

What the hell is going on????? We were bloody awful... Losing 5 games on the trot is not bad luck. Something is badly wrong. Lenegan, time to speak up

cant score and cant defend, there is obviously a basic problem at the heart of the club at this point in time. sometimes we have to grit our teeth and bite the bullet and just hope that things improve before too long, remember this the same team that looked good at the start of the season.

Something is dreadfully wrong at the club. Today their was no fight, no determination, no confidence, just a sense of apathy throughout the team and crowd. We are sleepwalking back into non-league unless something is done about the situation - and fast.

To say City were the better team doesn't say much for them. Any team could have beaten Oxford today.
This performance was a disgrace. If we played like that for the rest of the season we would be relegated by Christmas.

Wilder has to go and go quickly because every day he remains here is damaging the club.

I think when the pre match talk was for lee cox a Swindon surplus to requirements player to inspire a raggle taggle team of misfiring players very odd, and seems it was too tall an order to accomplish. We sold Connell our top scorer last season to Bradford surprised he didn't play .

Wilder got you out of the BSP, but really you have not progressed as you should since. On the other hand he has had little money to do anything with, not exactly his fault. You should have sold Beano and got the money to spend on the team, Beano has done sweet little since in the greater scheme of things.

I'm a CW fan but apparently his all stems from the Youth policy, CW & Lenagan don't get on. So why is it that Oxford fans who spends his hard earned cash the one paying the price?? It's ironic that Luke O'Brian appears so far to be Man of the Match for yesterday's game. The other players were well below their averages, so perhaps Luke was not aware of why the other players were not as commited with the current staffing/management set up. well i see that brenda jackson is being advised to go down the a420 and see a good side performing , well i took that advice once last year and really enjoyed what i saw , not that the folks in red and white looked very happy at the end though.

There was sign of a plan "B" yesterday, Bradford's centre half's dealt with the repeat moves of long balls and they won everything, we managed to get the ball through a couple of times by playing on the floor and then revert back to aerial attacks that went nowhere.
You could see that the team has been effected by injury, and for a non-fit sub to be the first to hit the target says at lot. In one way i'm Glad Tyrone Marsh didn't come on for his own sake, but wonder if a change were the ball was passed through their back line with a pacey lad to run onto it might have given some sort of result.
So 6032 were there to witness this last pathetic display, we'll be lucky to have 5000 for the Wimbledon game unless something drastic happens.

Last point; I have to agree with all those mentioning about the silence that is coming form the club. if they expect us to turn up week in, week out, they need to be a bit more open with us, because as supporters I feel we deserve to know what's going on.

Time for change me thinks !!!!

One very decent stand (with no atmosphere - like our South stand) - one relic from the 60s (great days in Rogers' era) , one open air 1930s tip and one average side. Narr , our ground is much better - and you know it - even if our team is much worse (except in matches between the clubs) .

Tyrone Marsh needs at least 30 minutes on the pitch, he looked good for the 10 minutes he came on at Leeds and the other strikers have shown absolutely no signs of scoring. Craddock needs to play down the middle, not on the left where Wilder seems to want him, and Constable needs to go to on loan to a BSP side to get his confidence back. And what has Rigg done - less than Smalley and that's saying something. Stop crowding the wings and put somebody in the middle, we couldn't do worse than a flat back 4 to stop the rot, pack the midfield and for goodness sake get some draws. We're inorexably heading for the BSP at the moment. I agree with oldun - 442, or even 451.

oldun for a fairly new ground the Kassam looks very poor and certainly gives the impression of three large tin sheds and certainly not a fairly new ground. Ok so some of the County Ground is dated but judge our ground after its re-development and we will see who then has the better looking ground. I'm sure they could have made a better fist of yours but obviously built it on the cheap and ran out of money hence the open car park where the fourth stand should have been.

The CG does need improving, but all in good time - we'll cut our cloth to suit our means, and not fall hook line and sinker for a massive club crippling debt.

Like ours, your ground is plenty good enough for home fans . The grounds of STFC and OUFC are hardly bursting at the seams!! The clubs are not among the Burnleys , Leicesters or Sheff Uniteds of this world. Our grounds are plenty big enough for non Championship football. Yes, yes , yes , yes - your team is doing much much better than ours is. Our ground is good enough for our fans - our playing results certainly are not.

There have been many parallels between our clubs over the years, both been in the top flight, both had some good players, both had bad boards, and both have had some rather indifferent managers. I think most would agree with that.

Kassam came along and "rescued" you after the fall out that was Maxwell, nobody could have fore saw Maxwells level of corruption, least of all the fan base. Kassam paid of the debts and saw a business opportunity and took it. The problem is now, your rent is stifling your progress. Wilder hasn't had money to spend freely and what he has spent hasn't worked. You have many injuries right now, so I question his pre season and levels of fitness of the players, the right training etc Either way, it seems you are stuck with him, an indifferent team, which he has built, and an owner who is more RFU than OU. Add to that a landlord who wants his money. None of that is down to the fan base. I don't envy you, your situation is not of your making. The only option seems to be a massive boycot of the next home game, to show your Chairman exactly how you feel. Not nice, but staying away en-mass will attract more publicity than protests with placards and scuffles with stewards and police. Said publicity would bring the message home to all those with a voice in the club, something would have to give. Loss of a good revenue will focus attention on the pocket of the chairman. perhaps you could then persuade to Ox mail to do a poll of who you want for your next manager, further pressure, although I doubt they would do that until after Wilder had left.

Awful display again. No pride to play at the mo. Need a change quickly. The club never talk about anything. Every time we get a new injury we are last to know usually when the player doesn't turn up in the starting 11. Like Duberry last year a couple of times. As fans we have to right to know what is happening. Half the fans could manage better then Wilder is doing. But you also have to look at Andy Melville as he is our defensive coach and we can't defend! Wholesale change in needed from top to bottom.

Six figure investment to stop injuries and we have more then ever! Should have spent that money on players.

Its all to easy and born through frustration to blame the manager - but he can only do what he can with the resources on offer. He is in a no win situation , literally.
The injuries are more down to bad luck and with a small squad have unfortunately a bigger impact.
Probably I'm stating the bleeding obvious but, if say you did sack CW what resources are available to pay him off and also get in a manager of quality - and how will this effect the new managers spending budget when he wants to bring in his own cronies and Messi. Its all a minefield.

depressing view - money is lost through continued bad results - six consec league defeats would equal our record (in 87-88 when we lost to the likes of Liverpool and Moanurenited)

Yes, because they probably own their ground and have a chairman that cares and actually works with his manager, and above all, has an interest in football, not RFU.

They prefer to moan and groan and do f*** all abut it.

Thanks for that, my hope is, believe it or not, is that both clubs should do well and at least then we both have something of a derby game to look forward to.
Add to that , it is important to maintain all the clubs in the Football League. having been through the mill at SN1 and watching other clubs suffer the same is no joke. From my perspective, Chairmen, directors, managers and players all come and go, the only folk ever loyal to any club are the supporters, and I don't like to see any supporters going through it, simple as that. Your Chairman needs to be made aware of the fans feelings, you could all ring in and jam the switchboard, send in letters etc, but the action needs to be unified and simultaneous to have any effect. Moaning on here is not enough, unified action is better, several thousand turning up, but not going through the turnstiles is something else, but 100% staying away is better, no money going through the turnstiles is a very pointed message. The players when they come out onto the pitch would also receive a very stark message, some very concentrated thinking would have to be done after that.

Inkpot, I like your thinking, we could all stand and just look over the fence to watch the game, your comment about a boycot makes it sound like working at the Cowley Assembly plant back in the 70's, with old Bobby Frier, everybody out.
