The simple thing is WE need to get behind the lads tomorrow night & spur then on! #OUFC #coyy @OxfordMailOUFC

11:32am
Hopefully everyone's mood wil be much better come bedtime tomorrow. We'll be at Whaddon Road, updates right here from 6.30pm. #oufc

11:32am
We're out of time so we'll leave it on those (sort of) positve thoughts. Thanks again everyone, top stuff and great to hear your thoughts.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:29am
@OxfordMailOUFC cheltenham have started poorly to, got 0-0 written all over it
— @Rtanner82 17 September 2012
@oxfordmailoufc im going, and havent seen them lose in the league yet, so fingers crossed!
— @coleys56 17 September 2012
11:29am
Yes, we've got one! Well done Andrew, from little acorns of belief we can turn this around. Anyone else? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:27am
@OxfordMailOUFC I think we can win tomorrow, derby games can be difference, sadly take me 3 hours to get there so can't go on a tuesday
— @AndrewRansley 17 September 2012
11:26am
@Mitcheast1 @oxfordmailoufc smalley has been one improvement 4 me this year. Technically a good player, but always compared vs Beanos goals
— @Big_badWolfe 17 September 2012
11:24am
No one's answered my Cheltenham question yet, does that mean you don't have any hope? A lot can change in 90 mins. Is anyone going?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:24am
@OxfordMailOUFC I've said it before and I'll say it again, CW has taken us as far as he can.
— @Rtanner82 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC past record two mid table finishes no progression same problems same tactics
— @nigel_robins 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC that does my head in as well as "let's pretend we've scored a goal" Idiot fans who should've gone to school more!
— @Big_badWolfe 17 September 2012
11:24am
@OxfordMailOUFC our problem has always been a lack of goals since wilder arrived negative tactics midson allowed to leave
— @nigel_robins 17 September 2012
11:22am
As for average gates, Oxford aren't the only ones in that situation. Clubs like Bradford and Luton must look at Stevenage, Walsall, Yeovil etc with envy.
11:20am
The hope is by January the likes of Leven, Whing, Davis & Worley will all have recovered, so the squad would be able to lose Cox, JFC and O'Brien.

northampton yellow says
what happens in jan when the loan signings dont want to extend their deals back to square 1 again this is the same everyyear and another question how can the likes of stevenage who play in d1 do so with an agv gate of 4,000 get the good players and we cant with an adv gare last year of 7,400 this just shows its the manager .
11:19am
Tend to agree with you Mitch. Hasn't Wilder earned the chance to get out of this rut given his past record? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:17am
We have been asking Junior, but the club have been reluctant to give details on the injured players. They don't want to set precise targets.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:17am
@OxfordMailOUFC also the club needs up communicate the injuries with the fans. I mean when did they last comment on Whing?
— @junioroufc 17 September 2012
11:15am
@OxfordMailOUFC Can we all calm down with the "wilder out" shouts. The last 3 results are unacceptable, but lets just wait a few more games.
— @Mitcheast1 17 September 2012
11:15am
@AndrewRansley @oxfordmailoufc Heslop isen't football fit!
— @junioroufc 17 September 2012
11:15am
RT @AndrewRansley: @OxfordMailOUFC Worley is twice the player of Raynes, I sound like #footballmanager
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:14am
Boateng hasn't been convincing so far, but of the youth players available I don't see anyone who can come in and play centre back. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:12am
@OxfordMailOUFC Is boeteng any better than our youth players? Didn't IL say he'd use them this season? Another pointless loan?
— @junioroufc 17 September 2012
11:12am
Considering everything covered so far, does anyone think #oufc can bounce back in time to get a result at Cheltenham tomorrow night?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:10am
@OxfordMailOUFC I Don't think Heslop is fit, think the solution is more reserve games, mixture of first and youth team
— @AndrewRansley 17 September 2012
11:09am
@OxfordMailOUFC : I think the players have become disheartened wiv CW negative tactics! There not bein aloud 2 show there true potential!!!!
— @ConradMynes 17 September 2012
11:09am
@OxfordMailOUFC how long aswell do we have to leave before we realise we need a decent striker.
— @pauloufc86 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC watch wilder when we are losing he retreats into the dug out.should have gone last season time for a new manager. #luvoufc
— @davison_neil 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC the players have shoulder some of the blame. Players get let off too easily
— @pauloufc86 17 September 2012
11:09am
The other point on CBs is Raynes picked up his 4th booking on Sat, so is 1 away from a suspension. If Worley's not ready, then what happens?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:09am
Welcome back, Andy. Unfortunately Dubes is miles away and there's not a date for Whing yet. Worley was on the bench on Sat, is he an option?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:08am
@OxfordMailOUFC For me, the problem is with the centre backs. Need Duberry & Whing back or a couple of long term loanees.
— @Andy_Hawkes 17 September 2012
11:05am
Thought Heslop's name would be brought up sooner. Think he has looked less and less confident with every game.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
11:05am
Hi Northampton Yellow.
Often talk of bust-ups during a bad run. The dressing room's obviously not a great place to be at the moment, but haven't heard anything tangible from players.
Do other fans think Wilder has taken United as far as he can?

northampton yellow says
is their a dressing room bust up if so have the players lost faith in cw coz something is deffo wrong has cw taken oxford as far as he can i think he has ,time for a change come on lenegan time to be stood up and counted
11:03am
@OxfordMailOUFC Fact is, players like Smalley and Heslop, just simply are not performing to an adequate standard.
— @Mitcheast1 17 September 2012
11:01am
Hi Ken, I know the lack of 4-4-2 is a bug bear for some. Does anyone else think the biggest problem here is essentially a tactical one?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:59am
@OxfordMailOUFC yet again it's down to continual formation change, please can we go to 442 and stick to it!
— @KenMamos 17 September 2012
10:58am
Definitely an on-going issue, Simon. All 5 players injured in the summer have taken longer than expected to return. Wilder would probably...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
...want to make five or six changes for tomorrow night, but he can't because of how stretched the squad is.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:56am
@OxfordMailOUFC my single biggest concern remains. Why do we always seem to have injury-ravaged campaigns? We shouldn't be reliant on loans
— @OUFC1976 17 September 2012
10:55am
Agree GoldenBoy it ends up with the manager, but don't the players have some role to play here?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:53am
@OxfordMailOUFC End of the day, the players are picked and motivated by Wilder and his staff. The buck stops with him.
— @OUFCGoldenBoy 17 September 2012
10:52am
...the scale of the benefits won't really be seen for a while. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:52am
A word on injuries, Junior. Trouble is the majority are hanging over from last season, before the investment on strength & conditioning...
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:48am
Wilder has to take some responsibility - he picks the team. But how culpable have the players been in these three defeats? #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:48am
@OxfordMailOUFC Mocking your own team, even when they're already well beaten is stupid. It's only going to harm confidence.
— @OUFCGoldenBoy 17 September 2012
10:48am
@OxfordMailOUFC CW has got a squad of his own signings so he has no excuse in questioning players attitudes. He should do more homework!!!
— @Big_badWolfe 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC does any1 not think the poor performances are down to our totally inept and negative manager
— @nigel_robins 17 September 2012
10:46am
Think that's a sensible approach, Andrew, it is only three games. Interested to hear from those at Burton, what did you make of the booing..
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
...and ironic cheering every time #oufc made a successful pass once it was 4-0. Fair way to let off steam or not helpful?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:42am
Absolutely agree about Cox. With Whing out there's no-one else in the squad who will naturally dig in and do the nitty gritty. #oufc
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:42am
From what was said on Sat I think JFC has a decent chance of playing. He's been great but agree relying on a teen on loan isn't a good sign.
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:42am
@OxfordMailOUFC Our terrible run appears to have started after Lee Cox got injured. I think he added some real stability to the side.
— @OUFCGoldenBoy 17 September 2012
10:38am
I think there are quite a few who share your feelings, Simon. Are you braving Whaddon Road tomorrow?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:37am
@OxfordMailOUFC Pittman must start, only bright thing to come out of Saturday. Hopefully Cox & JFC come in to strengthen the weak midfield.
— @JackSimpson_93 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC it appears some fans are enjoying our run as it gives them an excuse to abuse both players and manager, this doesn't help
— @AndrewRansley 17 September 2012
10:36am
@OxfordMailOUFC I'm not sure I'm ready to think about #OUFC yet
— @sgodfrey 17 September 2012
10:36am
Interesting concept of a manager transfer window, Andrew. Does that mean you think Chris Wilder needs a bit of time?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012
10:36am
Fair point Ali think Pittman has to be one of those changes for tomorrow. Thought he did fairly well after coming on at Burton. Anyone else?
— @OxfordMailOUFC 17 September 2012

@OxfordMailOUFC i'm going to cheltenham but would like a refund if poss
— @BraddersSimon 17 September 2012
@OxfordMailOUFC it's time for a manager transfer window, give managers until December without fear of sack
— @AndrewRansley 17 September 2012
10:33am
@OxfordMailOUFC plenty... But I think I'll wait & see if we turn up & play some football at Cheltenham before expressing my opinions.
— @JackSimpson_93 17 September 2012
10:33am
@OxfordMailOUFC would love to hear others views on CW's love for Sean Rigg. To me he looks poor at best. Pittman must get a chance @ Chelt??
