Ten-times champion Philip Adams (Cricketers B) stayed on course for another Greene King Oxford & District League singles crown with a 2-0 win over Keith Bull (Team Monarch) in the semi-finals.

He will now face teammate Kevin Baker on finals night following his epic 2-0 victory over Steve Ward (Six Bells C Kidlington).

In the first leg, Baker set five which Ward matched, before three sticks was tied 2-2 and one stick 1-1.

Reverting to six sticks, Baker hit five again, which was enough as Ward replied with four. Baker then set five in the next leg to clinch victory.
