Minster Lovell had mixed fortunes in an OCA Division 1 double header.

On Saturday, they crashed to a 120-run defeat at Garsington, only to bounce back with a seven-wicket win against Charlbury 24 hours later as Eddie Dunn and Matt Green starred with the ball.

At Garsington, the home side rattled up 214-6, Qaiser Naveed hitting 68, Nishit Kedia 62 and Asif Shah 59.

Minster tumbled to 94 all out in their reply as Steve Richardson (3-13), Kedia (3-18) and Mohammed Sarfraz (3-32) starred with the ball.

Dunn took 5-25 to help Minster to victory at Charlbury in a game switched from their own waterlogged ground.

Charlbury were shot out for 100, Green also taking 4-21, before Minster reached 102-3.

In Division 2, Stonesfield were beaten by 85 runs at home to Westcott.

Batting first, the visitors were bowled out for 214, Talib Hussain top-scoring with 64.

Dan Sherbourne’s 35 was the only highlight in Stonesfield’s response as they fell to 129 all out.

Oxford Caribbean won by ten runs at Chadlington.

Brian Barrett’s 67 was crucial as Caribbean posted a meagre 118 all out, only for the home side to slump to 108, Zabi Saeed taking 4-23.

Laurence Harvey’s 5-24 helped Clifton Hampden to a resounding ten-wicket triumph at West Ilsley in Division 3.

Ilsley were skittled for 57, before Mick Richmond (32no) steered Clifton to 58-0.

Robbie Nicholson (79) led the way 79 in Combe’s 114-run win over Britwell Salome.

Steve Dobson (54) and Chris Moore (52) also shone in Combe’s 231-8, and they went on to restrict their visitors to only 117-7.

East Oxford 2nd’s Maseh Sadiqi took 6-18 in his side’s 59-run win over Winslow Town.

East Oxford posted 134 all out, before Sadiqi’s fine spell ensured the visitors were bowled out for 75.

In Division 4, Tom Small’s 92 helped Cairns Fudge to a 30-run win over Fringford.

Fudge were all out for 183, before Steve Shaw took 3-33 in Fringford’s reply of 153.

Chesterton beat Wootton & Boars Hill by four wickets.

Trevor Price (4-26) and Jimmy Appleton (4-37) set up the win as Wootton were dispatched for 125.

James Morrison was the star for Garsington 2nd as he helped his side to a four-wicket win at Stanton Harcourt in Division 5.

Morrison claimed 5-27 to dismiss Stanton for 146, Chris Pascoe hitting a top score of 57.

Faisal Munir scored 41 in Garsington’s reply of 147-6.

Swinbrook beat Wolvercote by eight wickets.

Chasing Wolvercote’s 92 all out, James Snow scored 71 not out to steer Swinbrook to 93-2.

In the only Division 6 match to go ahead, Westbury 2nd defeated Risinghurst by four wickets.

Risinghurst fell to 121 all out, Westbury reaching 123-6 for victory.

James Stacey returned superb figures of 5-3 to help Sunningwell to a 95-run victory over Combe 2nd in Division 7.

Nigel Lovell made a top score of 68 not out in Sunningwell’s 136 all out, then Stacey took over with the ball, Combe being rolled over for a paltry 41.

Uffington 2nd beat Chalgrove by 26 runs.

Posting 110 all out, Oscar Taylor (3-16) and Howard Preene (3-26) combined to help dismiss the home side for 84.

In Division 8, Chadlington eased past East & West Hendred by five wickets.

Craig Atlas (4-18) and Toby Walker (3-13) were the pick of Chadlington’s attack in Hendred’s below-par 105 all out.

Veteran Durand Hotham then scored 39 as Chadlington reached 107-5.

In Division 9, Dean Warner-Carter returned brilliant figures of 8-24 for Chipping Norton 2nd, who beat Minster Lovell 3rd by 40 runs.

Minster were shot out for 85 as leg-spinner Warner-Carter weaved his magic.

This was in reply to Chippy’s 125 all out, in which Adrian Underhill hit 39.

Youngsters Liam Morris and Ed Priest starred for Witney Swifts 2nd in their seven-wicket win at Charlbury 3rd.

Priest achieved the hat-trick in his 4-7, while Morris took 4-15 as Charlbury were bowled out for 101.

Josh Grant (47no) then led Swifts to victory.

Ben Taunton claimed 6-21 to set up a five-wicket victory for Chinnor over Deddington 2nd in Division 10.

Deddington fell to 87 all out, Chinnor reaching 88-5 in reply.

Kilkenny 2nd saw off Broughton 2nd by 24 runs.

Gary Doggett (48no) and Tom Poole (34) saw Kilkenny to 169-5, and then Poole claimed 4-27 to restrict Broughton to 145-9.
