RACING: Rimell's warning

Mark Rimell, who trains at Leafield, near Witney, has been warned by the British Horseracing Authority about his future behaviour on the racecourse after punching jockey Aidan Coleman earlier this year.

The incident happened at Lingfield on January 5 after Rimell claimed that he was provoked by Coleman, who he alleged swore at him in an offensive manner.

It came after the jockey pulled up the Rimell-trained Ours in a handicap chase.

Coleman has also been warned about his behaviour, but the BHA decided not to take any further action against the pair.
