St Clare’s, Oxford
ST Clare’s, Oxford, went one better than last year by becoming Oxfordshire Under 19 Girls Basketball League champions.
They beat hosts Cheney School, Oxford, 57-26 in the final, with captain Mia Kraus, 18 points, and Marija Gvozdenovic (16) leading the way St Clare’s victory was especially sweet for Kraus, Lena Hansen, Lena Fuldauer and Alessia Passannanti as they were in the team which finished runners-up to European School, Culham, 12 months ago.
