CYCLING: Rose in fine win

Oxonian’s Malcolm Rose won the Burford 10-mile time trial.

He took the seventh race of the Beeline Cycles-sponsored Inter-Club League in a time of 22mins 32secs.

Peter Oliver (22.41) was second, with Matt Rowley (22.49) third.

Wendy Grundy was the first woman home in 28.28, Jem Line second in 31.14.
