Berinsfield stormed into the semi-finals of the OFA John Fathers Junior Shield with a resounding 10-0 thrashing of Sams United, from Division 2 of the Banbury & District Lord Jersey League.

Brian Rawlings and Ian Marshall both scored twice for the North Berks League side.

Chris Murphy, Mark Ingram, David Murphy, Aaron Stockford, Steve Masterson and David Smyth also netted in the rout.

Carterton A reached the last four with a 3-2 victory against fellow Witney FA outfit Ducklington.

Strikes from David Craig, Dan Sollis and Chris McNeal sealed Carterton’s passage.

Ben Hutter and Darren Harris hit back for Ducklington.

Chipping Norton Town also made it through to the semi-finals after goals from Warwick Thompkins, Rhys Warner-Carter and Gareth Price earned them a 3-2 win against Chalgrove.
