HARWELL twins Edith and Imogen Langford won gold in the girls’ doubles at the Badminton England Silver Grade Devon Under 17 tournament in Exeter.
They came from behind to beat Middlesex’s Nicole Jacobs and Berkshire’s Frances Penney 5-15, 21-19, 15-13 in the final.
Edith Langford also won bronze in girls’ singles. Meanwhile, Abingdon’s Jeremy Lu won silver in the boys’ singles at the Home Counties Under 13 tournament.
He was pipped 15-7, 12-15, 15-10 by Essex’s Brandon Ngooi in a nail-biting final.
Didcot’s Megan Ready also enjoyed success with a bronze doubles medal at the Bronze Grade Nottingham Under 15 tournament.
