Premier Division leaders Hinskey let slip a two-goal lead to slump to a shock 4-2 victory at Kennington United in the Oxfordshire Senior League.

Luke Bremner and Kallum Conlon gave Hinksey a half-time advantage.

But Kennington stormed back after the break with goals from Stephen Lewis, Rob Andrews and Andy Dier, before Matty Harris’s superb left-footed shot sailed into the top corner to clinch victory.

Mansfield Road kept their title hopes alive by thrashing Horspath 7-1.

Danny Normington gave the visitors an early lead.

But then it was one-way traffic as Adam Healy (2), Dave Kay, Ben Quigley, Steve West, Mike Cave and Louis McGillycuddy took Mansfield Road, who have two games in hand on the leaders, to victory.

Garsington, who have four games in hand on Hinksey, maintained their challenge with a 3-2 home win over Freeland.

Alex Fasoranti, Craig McMahon and Aston Shaw netted for Garsington, with John Crump and Daniel Taylor replying for the visitors.

Liam Garrett’s double helped Adderbury Park to a 4-1 home win over lowly Eynsham.

Ady Way and Dan Smith were also on target for the hosts, with Craig Freeman replying.

Todd Parker-Hunt’s double saw Bletchingdon edge a 3-2 verdict at home to Marston Saints.

Richard Wells also netted for the victors, with Tom Payne and Josh Carr the Marston marksmen.

Substitute Ryan Carter’s brace set the seal on Oxford University Press’s 4-0 home win over Enstone.

Dave Carter broke the deadlock before half-time, before George Little added the second.

Oxford Irish went back to the top of Division 1 with a 2-0 win at Watlington.

Thomas Conway and Darren Cuddy netted in the second half for Irish, whose victory was soured by having Liam Hastings sent off for kicking out at an opponent.

Substitute Paul Kovac’s second-half header from a corner gave North Oxford a 1-0 home win over fellow strugglers Chadlington.

Charlton United ran out 2-0 winners at home to Long Crendon.

Paul O’Neil had a first-half penalty saved for Charlton, before Chris Hancock and Tom Newton-Chance struck after the break.

Steve Twynha bagged a brace in Middleton Cheney’s 5-2 win at Kidlington Old Boys.

Paul Connolly, Aaron Bockingham and Luke Finch also netted for Middleton Cheney, with Kidlington replying through Daniel Jones and a Kane Adams cracker.

Wayne Smith bagged a brace of equalisers to give Yarnton Res a battling 2-2 draw at home to Charlton United Res in their Division 2 mid-table battle.

Smith cancelled out strikes by Tom Sullivan and Ben Hookham.

Darren Smith’s hat-trick saw Garsington Res to a thrilling 5-4 win after extra time at Broughton & North Newington Res in the Ivor Gubbins Cup semi-finals.

The two sides were locked together at 4-4 at the end of normal time, and with both teams out on their feet, Smith popped up with the winner.

Dan Smith and Steve Stryme also netted for Garsington, with Steve Adkins, an Andy Robey penalty, James Tillcock and Andy Cullen making up Broughton’s tally.

Now Garsington will face Slade Farm United Res, who won 5-2 at Eynsham Res in the other semi-final.

Callum Wynne (2), Sean Masterson, Kevin Peake and Daniel Buckley were Slade’s scorers, with Johnny Room and Ollie Page replying.
