Dave Cresswell and Ted Bennett both smashed hat-tricks for Oxford Hawks on Saturday.

Their trebles came as Hawks hammered Ashford (Middlesex) 8-0 in Premier Division 2.

The emphatic win was a good way to christen their new shirts, which have been sponsored by Morfactor.

There is no stopping “King” Cresswell. He is the league’s leading scorer with 27 goals.

The rout began when Cresswell found Bennett on the far post, and he dived to slap the ball in.

While attempting to make the save, the Ashford goalkeeper injured himself and was unable to continue.

The slicker Hawks kept ex-tending their lead through Bennett and Cresswell. There was a brace too from Freddie Coppin as Hawks stay two points clear at the top.
