Fans of the Cesarewitch have been given a massive boost after it was announced that the Stadium Bookmakers will be back for the oldest staying event in the calendar next year.
Their bid to back the Scurry Gold Cup and Gold Collar, though, proved unsuccessful as their sister track Belle Vue retained the option.
However, a sponsor is still needed for the Maiden Derby, which takes place next summer. Meanwhile, there are no more open races planned until the Oxfordshire Stakes and Oxfordshire Gold Cup, which both take place later in the year.
