CRICKET: Horspath's new beginnings

Horspath CC’s new ground is up and running – allowing the go-ahead club to have two teams playing at home on neighbouring pitches.
Work started on the Bowley Field ground in 2007 and the first game took place on the opening week of the MP Sports Cherwell League season when Horspath 3rd entertained Great Brickhill 2nd in Division 7.
The hard work is clearly paying off as Horspath fielded four league teams for the first time in their history last weekend – and all four won.
