Horspath Hammers open their junior racing season today when they host the first round of the British Junior & Youth League, starting at noon.
More than 100 riders from the region are expected to compete.
Horspath reached the national final last season. Tomorrow, Horspath face a difficult trip to Leicester, regarded as their main contenders for the British Premier League title.
Mateusz Szymczak returns, replacing Rafal Dulinski in the team that won at Poole in the last round.
Horspath line-up: L Osborne, M Morgans, M Boaler, M Szymczak, S Harris, M Carmichael, C Osborne, S Rudman.
A depleted Horspath octet went down 95-84 at Newport in the Regional League last week.
Newport included Hammers loanee Mark Carmichael.
Horspath veteran Mike Burgess and Mark Boaler each dropped one point.
A weakened Conference side lost 83-64, even though ten-year-old George Horsley showed up well in the reserve berth.
