Ranger Royston Maxwell caught a new Farmoor record rainbow of 13.12.0 on a cat’s whisker booby – just one of several excellent recent catches from the Oxford fishery.
Scott Macfarlane had another fish of 10.6.0.
Local season-ticket holder Paul Manktelow had a rainbow of 12.6.0 on his first cast of the afternoon.
Meanwhile, a pairs boat match is being held on Saturday, April 24 from 10am-4pm with a 16-fish limit per boat.

Farmoor are also holding three Try-Fly days on Saturdays April 17, May 22 and June 5. These are beginners courses run by Ken Day, assisted by other qualified instructors.
