Jolly Poacher, who pulled off a brilliant treble of all three big races at Oxford last year, is on the hunt for silverware again after reaching the semi-finals of a major sprint event at Cork in Ireland.
Poacher, who finished second and third in the qualifiers, looks good for the final, according to trainer Nick Colton.
l THE Michael Peterson-trained Malbay Beyonce posted the fastest time at Monday's trial session with a 27.07 clock over the four bends,. Positive Step, back from injury, and Isle Of Tara (seasonal rest) were also in action.
l THE Angie Kibble-trained Hillcross Holly has won four of her last five races, while Zigzag Wokabout has completed a hat-trick.
