BAYARDS Hill Primary School, Barton, are through to the national final of the ESFA Under 11 girls’ seven-a-side competition.
The Oxfordshire champions booked their place in the four-team decider at Watford Academy on Saturday, May 1 by winning the reg-ional round in Bristol.
Molly Lygo scored both goals as Bayards Hill beat the Somerset representatives 2-0 in the final.
They had earlier won three of their four group games, beating Cornwall 1-0, Dorset 3-0 – with Lygo hitting a hat-trick – and Gloucs 1-0.
Sabina Lossnitzer and Shelley Knight scored the goals against Cornwall, and Gloucestershire, while the match against Wiltshire finished goalless.
