OXFORD University retained the unequipped team title at the Great Britain Powerlifting Federation (GBPF) British Universities Championships, a BUCS-affiliated event.

Karl Seddon, Scott McLaughlan and Robert Pearce totalled 1065 points to take top spot.

Meanwhile, Adam Sandel won gold in the junior 75kg class at the World Drug Free Powerlifting Federation (WDFPF) Unequipped Championships in Milton Keynes.

Ex-club president Luke Pike competed at the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) World Championships in New Delhi, India.
